Esli Bijker, Captain

Esli started sailing with his father at the age of 4. After university he obtained his navigation certificates to become a professional skipper. At the age of 24 he left Holland with the 50ft. Minorca to cruise around the world. He is not only a sailor, but also loves surfing, kiting, windsurfing, fishing, snorkeling. For almost a decade he has been sailing as a charter-skipper on the Minorca all over the world.

Carolijn Bijker, Chef and host

Carolijn boarded the Minorca 8 years ago and has not left since. Raised in a Burgundian culinary tradition she took up a passion for cooking and specialized herself in creating delicious fish dishes. She has her own catering company in Amsterdam, but her true passion is cooking on board of the Minorca.

Since December 2007 the Minorca a new crewmember, Mick Bijker. Mick loves the sealife and will definitely put a smile on your face. If due to any circumstances Carolijn and Esli cannot be on board there will be professional and experienced replacements.
